Barrier Free
The Barrier Free shower base series is designed specifically for an aging in place application. These bases have had their thresholds virtually eliminated. This provides for ease of entry and reduced tripping hazards.
We recommend that collapsible thresholds (#05010) are used with these shower bases. They are designed to compress under the weight of a wheelchair and expand back to help keep water in the shower while showering.
Please note: these bases are for assisted living applications. If you want a minimalist look for a non-assisted living application, we recommend our Minimalist Series.
